Not surprisingly, the bulk of woodworking channels on YouTube are based in the United States. Canada and Great Britain are in second and third, respectively, but it’s not close.
I find the differences in woodworking super interesting! Beyond the obvious difference in measurement systems, the tools and techniques can be very different. I’m always excited to watch when I find a new channel from a different country. A few that stand out:
- Keillo Wood in Finland. He builds furniture highlighted in other woodworkers’ videos.
- Hooked on Wood in the Netherlands. Amazing workshop with high-end tools and accessories.
- Woodshop Junkies in South Africa. High-efficiency builds for a small workshop.
